Andrew Hinton's "Architectures for Conversation: What Communities of Practice Can Mean for Information Architecture" was the IAI's inaugural event on its new Second Life island.

Snapshots from this well-attended presentation are posted on Flickr. The transcript of the discussion includes a very interesting Q&A at the end. The slidedeck can also be downloaded from Andrew's blog.

Next in the series is Peter Morville's "Information Architecture 3.0." Offered as a pre-conference workshop at the Summit this year, Peter is delivering a 60 minute version on Friday, July 27 at 12:00 noon Pacific Time on the IAI's Info Architecture island.
