IA Institute and SEGD Announce Partnership

The IA Institute is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Society for Environmental Graphic Design. The partnership will allow IAI members to attend the upcoming Xlab 2013 Conference at SEGD prices. Join us on October 24 at the Museum of the Moving Image, Queens, NY.

Xlab - The Future of Experience Design
Experience + Interaction in Public Space
October 24, New York

Xlab is SEGD's premier digital innovation event connecting design, technology, and communication in the built environment.

At Xlab 2013, we'll focus on how urban spaces are being shaped by digital communications, immersive experience design, and enabling information retrieval in the built environment. As the digital revolution spreads from mobile applications to new digital/physical environments, we'll explore the impact of emerging visual, sensing, and customization technologies on public space.

The lab itself is a one-day event October 24 at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens. The museum's ultra-modern interiors and expanded space, designed by Brooklyn-based LEESER Architecture, will set the stage for our conversations.

IA Institute members can register at SEGD member pricing. Visit Xlab's online registration here: http://www.segd.org/shop/104/274/10414/xlab-2013.html
