IA Summit workshop announced

AIfIA will be holding a content management workshop on February 27,2004, in conjunction with the 2004 IA Summit (February 27- 29, 2004).

This workshop topic is Content Management for Information Architects and AIfIA has attracted an exciting roster of speakers to the event. Session leaders include:

  • Bob Boiko (author of the Content Management Bible),
  • Ann Rockley (author of Enterprise Content Management),
  • Tony Byrne (of CMSWatch), and
  • Joseph Busch (from Taxonomy Strategies)

John O'Donovan (of the BBC) and Donna Fritzsche (of Amichi, LLC) are organizing the event.

The day will include presentations, relevant case studies, and opportunities for workshop participants to ask questions and share the content manangement challenges. Special emphasis will be placed on the integration of IA knowledge and deliverables into the CM process.

The early-bird registration fee will be $500, and a portion of the feewill help support the non-profit activities of AIfIA and ASIS&T (who hosts the IA Summit).
