The following people have been elected to the 2006-2008 the IA InstituteBoard of Directors:

Lou Rosenfeld has updated his report on the results of the Polar BearBook, 3rd Ed. surveys. New surveys have been posted in the IAI Researchsection, covering the following topics:

  • Input from IA Educators
  • IA Education (for Practitioners)


Grant deadline extension

IAI has extended the deadline for application for the award of two USD$1,000 Progress Grants for 2006. Questions can be directed to thecommittee chair, Eric Reiss (elr AT e-reiss DOT com). Grant applicationsshould be emailed by October 15th to grants AT iainstitute DOT org.
