ASIS&T Bulletin, Boxes and Arrows, and Web Indexing SIG

ASIS&T Bulletin - http://www.asis.org/bulletin.html

The February March issue of the Asis&t Bulletin features IA Column "IA Growing Roots" by IAI volunteers Andrea Resmini, Katriina Bystršm and Dorte Madsen. The article announces the upcoming peer-reviewed scientific Journal of Information Architecture, due in Spring 2009. Beginning with an outline of discussions to "define" IA within the community, the article ends with a call to action: "For the discipline to mature, the community needs a corpus, a defining body of knowledge." Read about the REG-IA group and their goals to grow IA as an academic discipline.
